About the Organization
Godavari Seva Sansthan is a Trust founded by Mr. Jai Prakash Dangwal and Mrs. Rekha Dangwal in 2015.
The organization has been actively implementing free computer education and free stitching programs on a full time basis for the public of Devprayag, Tehri garhwal. Thus helping the community to become self reliant and confident.
Nature of Work
We are currently implementing free computer education program for the kids of devprayag. Currently 60 students batch receives free computer training from our Trust in various batches that runs throughout the day. We currently teach in labs comprising of 10 computers. Our faculties teach in the morning and evening shifts respectively. The program commenced on June 2015 and since then hundreds of needy students have benefitted from these programs.
Why We Do What We Do
Education is very crucial in building one's career in life. And one of the major key components of education is basic computer knowledge. The computer is imperative in today’s education system. The reason is that computers have gradually replaced conventional ways of working in day-to-day life in one's currier; thus, having basic computer know-how is imperative. Keeping these crucial things in mind and observing the lack of facilities and subjective knowledge offered by the regular schools in general, we started offering free computer education to the kids of Devprayag.
